Cooling at the Cave

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 07/29/2017
Cooling at the Cave is a Clarksville tradition that goes back over 100 years. Locals would gather at the mouth of Dunbar Cave in the summer to enjoy performances and the cool, 58 degree air blowing from the depths of the cave.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

The FODC (Friends of Dunbar Cave) group keeps this tradition alive through this annual event, which is the last Saturday in July. It is free to the public, and dogs are welcome (leashed please). The group provides refreshments, donations requested. T-shirts and group membership are available for purchase.
The afternoon's entertainment will be The Cumberland Winds. The Jazz Project specializes in performing music from the big band era.
