We’re bringing back eight movies that were among the top-rated titles ever shown at our theater. Each one has been specially re-mastered for the state-of-the-art IMAX with Laser format and new audio system.
Film Festival Movies:
Born to Be Wild 3D
Morgan Freeman narrates this fun-filled, yet soul-stirring documentary about two dedicated animal preservationists. Daphne Sheldrick has created an elephant sanctuary in Kenya, while Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas has set up an orphanage for orangutans in Borneo. The baby elephants and baby orangutans are remarkably resilient and playful in the care of these dedicated animal experts. Viewers fall in love with these creatures and their caretakers as these adorable animals are nurtured with love before they are re-introduced back into the wild.
Deep Sea 3D
Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet narrate Deep Sea 3D, an exploration of the exotic and rarely seen ecosystems that thrive in the deepest sections of the ocean. Galapagos
Equal parts of adventure, scientific expedition, personal quest, and part fantastic voyage, this unprecedented non-fiction film takes audiences on a fantastic expedition to the famed Galapagos Islands. Hubble 3D

Humpback Whales 3D

Space Station 3D
Right now, the International Space Station is orbiting the Earth some 250 miles above our heads. Space Station 3D was the first 3D live-action film to be shot in space. Under the Sea 3D

The theater fills with fantastic marine creatures like Chambered Nautilus, Leafy Sea Dragons, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Australian Sea Lions and more. You might want to become SCUBA-certified after taking this virtual diving tour of the coastal regions of Southern Australia, New Guinea and the Indo-Pacific.
