The Frisch Marionettes, visiting from Cincinnati, Ohio, launch our summer reading with their beautiful version of this beloved American story based on the book by L. Frank Baum. Drawing inspiration from the great European troupes such as the Salzburg Marionette Theatre, every aspect of a Frisch Marionette production is written, designed, handcrafted, created, and recorded in their own workshops. Recommended for 5-12 but all are welcome. In the Children’s Theater. Running time: 60 minutes
