After Thanksgiving Hike with Jason Miller - Historic Rugby

A “Walk-it-Off” hike helps excuse any Thanksgiving excess so join guide Jason Miller, program administrator for Tennessee State Natural Areas, in this relaxing trek through the Rugby State Natural Area, November 27. These moderate hikes range from 1.5 to 3 miles long. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and snacks, and watch the forecast — even as Rugby doesn’t always conform to it.

Hear in her own words from the widow left to complete construction of Rugby’s library. There’s also the lady who rode a white horse, came to Rugby to dance and remained for 50 years. Listen to a lad who grew up here in the 1885-1901 years and find out how he helped honor Queen Victoria in British-founded Rugby. There may even be a new character or 2 this year!
