Annual Rutherford County Christmas tree Lighting

On the first Friday night of December, we gather around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse, for the annual lighting of the Rutherford County Christmas tree.

Main Street organizes this event, featuring entertainment, caroling, the lighting of the tree, and of course a visit from Santa. Bring your family downtown for dinner, view the live nativity, shop in unique stores, enjoy an hour-long program full of choir music, dancing, and acting.
