*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 10/17/2019
Work with family or friends to engineer your own movable car prototype, inspired by the unique vehicles on view in the galleries October 17, 2019. For ideas, examine Webb Pierce’s 1962 Pontiac Bonneville convertible, customized by Nudie Cohn with steer horns and more than 150 silver dollars, and Elvis Presley’s “Solid Gold” Cadillac, which has its own television and shimmers from forty coats of paint made of crushed diamonds and fish scales.
