Family Program at the CMHF: Relief Printmaking with Hatch Show Print

Learn about relief printmaking with historic print studio, Hatch Show Print. Collaborate with a friend to make a print, or make one of your own October 11, 2019. In this workshop, participants will learn about positive and negative space, mirror image, and color layering by arranging a unique typeface called Alpha-Blox.

After creating a design of letters, patterns or shapes, aspiring printmakers will ink their design with a brayer and print it on a sign press to reveal the art. Educator artists from Hatch Show Print will be on hand to lend guidance and expertise. Ages 5 and up. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with museum admission.
