Need to get out some anger? Want some firewood? By special request: bring your brute and help us remove non-native plant species that are negatively affecting Shelby Bottoms October 17, 2019. You'll learn how to identify (and effectively remove) the most common invasive plant species in the park, including privet, honeysuckle, and Johnson grass. You'll also learn about the native species we aim to preserve. We will provide tools and gloves, but feel free to bring your own. Long pants recommended.
Leaders: Shelby Miller and Amanda Healan
