Join us for the second year of Elf & Fairy Camp! In this week-long program, campers ages 7-14 will create their own character and learn songs and dances to perform as part of the ensemble in the Nashville Shakespeare Festival’s upcoming production of The Tempest. They will have the opportunity to gain strategies and tools to approach Shakespeare’s text, strengthen their teamwork skills in an ensemble, and learn about several areas of theater, including costumes, sets, directing, and acting, while preparing to perform alongside the professionals in The Tempest. The first 6 weeks of Nashville Shakes’ Summer Shakespeare will be at Nashville’s oneC1TY (performances run Aug 15-Sept 22). The final weekend of shows will be Sept 26-29 in Franklin at the Academy Park Performing Arts Center.
