- Take: We recommend taking this class any time during pregnancy, but it can also be taken after baby arrives.
Preparing for baby isn’t just about preparing your body: it’s also about preparing your finances. This class will help you start to get your money in order. You’ll learn the steps to figure out your health insurance, get tools to create a family budget and stick to it, and learn ways to save for the new expenses a child brings.
Heather Price works at Baby and Company as a childbirth and early parenting educator and lactation specialist, and has been with Baby and Company since the Nashville birth center opened in 2015. She especially has a heart for postpartum mothers and families, and has used her background in secondary education to help write curriculum for Baby+Co classes and workshops. In addition, Heather is currently working toward board certification in lactation as an IBCLC. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children--her second baby was Baby+Co baby number 19! You might also find Heather working in the gardens around her home or cooking and baking.
