*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 10/26/2019
In this bilingual program, little listeners will learn about the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, with musician Rachel Rodriguez. Sing and dance to songs in Spanish and English to learn traditions behind the holiday, then create artwork inspired by the work of Mexican-born designer Manuel Cuevas, whose costumes are on view in the exhibit American Currents: The Music of 2018. Rodriguez is a multilingual artist who performs and teaches throughout the Nashville area. Come ready for fun October 26, 2019! Ages two to six with accompanying adults. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Limited seating.
