uPick Sunflowers are $1/stem.
You are encouraged to bring your own jar and scissors for harvesting, but sterilized mason jars and scissors will also be available onsite. -
If you do not bring a mason jar or vase to take your flowers home in, we will provide bags with water to help get your flowers home in good condition.

In the event that all our uPick plants have been fully harvested, the farm will remain open through the end of the scheduled event time for people to continue enjoying the property.
How does the uPick work?
The uPick event is hosted at Menkveld Farm, 2966 McCanless Rd, Nolensville, TN. When you arrive, pull down the driveway, head down the gravel road, and park at the base of the hill. Check in at the tent to receive row assignments and a quick tutorial about harvesting. When you have finished cutting flowers for your bouquet, drop off any borrowed equipment at the tent and pay for your sunflowers. We accept cash, Venmo, and credit card. As a reminder, while you are on the farm you will likely encounter bugs and other critters, including bees. It can also get very warm out in the flower fields this time of year, so we encourage everyone to bring water and wear sunscreen.

Do I have to pay to visit the farm if I don’t want to pick a bouquet? There is no fee to come out to the farm, only if you want to cut flowers while you are here.

Are there other things to do at the farm besides harvesting bouquets? Yes! You are welcome to walk through the sunflower fields, take photos, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy.

Is the field accessible to those who have difficulty walking? If you need assistance to get to the sunflower field and back to the parking area, we are happy to provide accommodations! Just let us know when you arrive.

Are there restrooms available? We will have several restrooms available for use on the farm.
We hope to offer several more uPick events throughout the summer. For those interested, we also offer Private uPick Parties for groups of 5 or more who would like exclusive access to the farm for harvesting flowers.
