Summer Backyard Stargazing

With relatively warm, lengthening nights and one of the best meteor showers of the year, the months of August and September are a great time to check out the night sky, even if it's just from your backyard with no fancy equipment. Students will leave this class prepared to observe the season’s major celestial landmarks and events visible with the unaided eye – including individual stars, constellations, another galaxy, planets, the Moon, and the Perseid and Delta Aquarid meteor showers.

Dino Stroll - Nashville

During Dino Stroll experience a transformation into the Mesozoic Era with prehistoric dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, throughout! As guests walk through this Dinosaur adventure they are able to get up close and personal with almost 75 life-like creatures, reptiles and life-size dinosaurs, with most standing over 25 feet tall and spanning over 60 feet long, including T-Rex, Velociraptors and Stegosaurus, just to name a few.
