Adventure Science Center

Fort Negley
Fort Negley Park is a 63 acre park located outside downtown Nashville. FNP features numerous interpretive panels and a visitors center that explores the relationship between Nashville and the Federal Government during the Civil War. Although relic hunting is not allowed there is a designated area next to the visitors center where guests dig for fossils and learn about Nashville's ancient past. FNP also has a milkweed garden established to restore monarch butterfly habitat. Among the many programs are four regular events - Art Crawl ( 1st Saturday), Fossil Finders and a guided walking tour (2nd Saturday), and Civil War Roundtable (3rd Tuesday).
