Afternoons with Emily: Festival of Holi

The festival of colors, called Holi, is a popular ancient Hindu celebration. Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. This year it begins Monday March 9th and ends Tuesday March 10th. In honor of this cultural festival we will create colorful interpretations by painting Holi people and straw painted Holi cards. We will end our time by throwing colorful confetti at each other! For grades K thru 6th, but all are welcome.
