Beginning Charcoal Drawing

Guided by a structured lesson plan, your child begins with simple shapes and light sketching, making the process feel easy and approachable while enhancing problem solving through thoughtful observation.
After completing the drawing, students explore shading, contrast, texture, and depth, discovering how charcoal can create rich values and dramatic effects. The hands-on process builds focus and patience, allowing creativity to unfold naturally in a calm, organized studio.
By the end, your child completes a striking still life drawing and gains a strong sense of accomplishment, building confidence through a rewarding artistic experience.
