Newsflash! Day Camp
This Just In: Newsflash! helps children like yours explore their interest in the media through hands-on activities and real-world field trips. Aspiring members of the media learn about marketing, TV, radio, magazine and news productions, while creating their own camp-focused magazine. Behind the camera or in front, your child will have fun by learning about and experience the media in person.
No two weeks at Day Camp are the same. Throughout the summer, we feature different themes filled with new activities, new experiences and new memories. Whether it’s playing a new sport, learning about science and nature or exploring their creativity, your child will build confidence and bonds to last a lifetime.
Helping every child swim
At the Y, we believe every child should be able to learn the skills they need to have fun and be safe in the water. That’s why we’re offering free water safety instruction to all day camp participants who don’t pass our YMCA Swim Test. Learn More
