Did you know that over 150 species of Odonates – dragonflies and damselflies –
can be found in Tennessee?

-These fascinating insects live most of their life stages
underwater, or in an aquatic environment, some for up to 2 years, before they
emerge in the warm months for brief life as adults.
Photographer and naturalist Richard Connors will give a slide presentation on
“Tennessee Odes”, and lead a walk to the pond to look for dragonflies and
damselflies in the park. Bring binoculars and camera if you have them.
