Dazzling Dragons

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 06/27/2015
Did you know that over 150 species of Odonates – dragonflies and damselflies – can be found in Tennessee?

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

-These fascinating insects live most of their life stages

underwater, or in an aquatic environment, some for up to 2 years, before they

emerge in the warm months for brief life as adults.

Photographer and naturalist Richard Connors will give a slide presentation on

“Tennessee Odes”, and lead a walk to the pond to look for dragonflies and

damselflies in the park. Bring binoculars and camera if you have them.
