Fall Break Fun

Every country artist has their own story that, like the patches of a quilt, helps make up the full picture of country music. From Oct. 6 through Oct. 27, museum attendees can visit the Information Desk to pick up a free packet full of fall activities that piece the diverse sounds presented in the museum galleries together like a quilt.

Exhibits currently on view include the permanent exhibition Sing Me Back Home: Folk Roots to the Present, as well as Patty Loveless: No Trouble with the Truth; Dick Curless: Hard Traveling Man from Maine; Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock, presented by City National Bank; Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul, presented by Gibson; and American Currents: State of the Music, which features artifacts from the Black Opry, Luke Combs, Sierra Ferrell, Rhiannon Giddens, Reba McEntire and many more. Hands-on programs take place every Friday through Sunday in the museum's Taylor Swift Education Center.
