Family Program: Belt Buckles and Bolo Ties

From a jacket decked out with dinosaurs to a vest covered in sequins, the musicians of the Los Angeles club scene in the 1970s had a unique style that matched the country-rock sound they invented. Participants will explore the fashions presented in the museum’s exhibition Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock and make their own belt buckle or bolo tie to show off their style and personality.
