Family Program at the CMHF: Songwriting Journal and Bookmark Workshop

Take inspiration from the collaborative songwriting tradition of Boudleaux and Felice Bryant, the duo responsible for hit songs such as “Rocky Top” and “Bye Bye Love.” Create your own unique songwriting journal using bookbinding techniques October 25, 2019. Then, learn to sew a bookmark for your journal on a Singer sewing machine. What songs will you write, and who would you choose as your co-writer? Materials provided. All skill levels welcome. Instructors will provide guidance. Ages six and up. Presented in support of the exhibit We Could: The Songwriting Artistry of Boudleaux and Felice Bryant. Presented in support of Fall Break Fun. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with museum admission.
