First Day Hike - Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 01/01/2021
Make a resolution to get outside and join Ranger Jackson for our first FREE signature hike of the year! Our 56 Tennessee State Parks are a place where Tennesseans can find peace, be active, and recharge, and our rangers want to take some time to thank our visitors for their support by offering free hikes and other programs. Ranger Jackson will be your guide as you explore the history and ecosystems of the state of Tennessee through the architecture of Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
We will meet at the park visitor center at 10:00am to begin our tour of the park and capitol grounds. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. The tour route will include climbing the stairs of the capitol, and a mile loop around the park on paved surfaces.
