*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/15/2016
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Campers will learn to diagnose the health of a body of water based on they type of insects found in the creek. We will also catch and identify detrimental and beneficial garden bugs and learn how to garden without pesticides. Lots of great invertebrate-inspired arts and crafts will be offered.
Numerous activities will be offered throughout the summer regardless of weekly theme. Activities include archery, art, bicycling, climbing, crafts, crawdads, creek play, ecology, exploring, felting, games, gardening, hiking, knitting, music, nature study, paper making, pottery, rappelling, singing, trampolining, tree climbing, wildlife, yoga and much more! Our focus is on nature, the environment and ecology. We strive to provide a safe fun place where children can enjoy wide open spaces and learn to love and respect our natural environment.
Come play outside with us this summer!
