On March 12th, Nashville and Ireland will come together to celebrate the holiday that makes the whole world want to be Irish for a day. Music City, USA will embrace its heritage and explore its cultural and musical roots bringing two iconic genres together for a day of incredible entertainment for the whole family.
Headlining the festival is We Banjo 3, the Award-winning quartet from Galway, Ireland, that delivers a ground breaking mixture of Irish Music and Old Time American and Bluegrass influences with remarkable virtuosity and passion. Also appearing are The Willis Clan from Season 9 of America's Got Talent and their very own TLC reality TV show. They are one of the hottest up-and-coming Irish pop bands and hail from right here in Nashville. Altan, no Irish traditional band in the last dozen years has had a wider impact on audiences and music lovers throughout the world..."under no circumstances should they be missed in concert." These headline bands are joined by Northern Ireland duo Beat Root, and winners of the Belfast songwriters contest. Also appearing are Nashville's award-winning Southern Academy Irish Dancers and the Nashville Pipes and Drums. So come join the best party in town!
