YEAH! is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable youth arts organization in Nashville, Tennessee. The organization exists to provide opportunities in music and other arts to students ages 10-17. YEAH! produces and directs many influential programs which give students multiple ways to find their place and create community. 

Our unique summer, afterschool and weekend programs support a culture of social responsibility, self-esteem and collaboration over competition. Participants engage in these values  while building community through music.  Students’ confidence is bolstered through a holistic and inclusive curriculum that meets young musicians where they are. Students of all levels gain instrument proficiency (currently bass, drums, guitar, keyboard and vocals), work together as a band, learn songs, write original music, attend related workshops and culminate each program with a performance in a public showcase at a local music venue.

YEAH! recognizes every young person to be empowered and creative. The rise of unavoidable encounters with social injustices, the priorities placed on building infrastructure and accelerating academics, put at risk the development of youth and community well being. Creating music is a timeless artistic process - innate in all of us - and a source of wellness that needs to be increased. YEAH! is committed to removing the barriers of accessing music education by providing youth with courageous spaces where they can connect, collaborate and create through music.
