First Steps, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and care for children with special needs and medical conditions alongside their typically developing peers, invites families from across the community to come together for its annual Run Walk Roll for All Abilities on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Run Walk Roll for All Abilities features a one-mile walk, a variety of fun runs, and entertainment for all ages. For those who prefer to participate remotely, a Virtual 5K option is available, allowing participants to complete the race anytime between April 12 and April 30, 2025.
“We are honored to serve families and young children with special needs. We are thrilled to offer an event where children of all abilities can come together and enjoy a fun, welcoming atmosphere,” said Heather Higgins, Executive Director of First Steps.
Run Walk Roll for All Abilities will take place at the Lipscomb Academy Athletic Facility from 8:30am to 11:30am. Registration is $35 for individuals and $50 for families (up to five members) and children ages 0-2 are free. Activities will include bounce houses, photo booth, and more. Fun runs will be available for different age groups, including ages 3-5, 6-10, 11-teens, along with special categories like Disney Friends, Superheroes, and Anything on Wheels.
