Songwriting Camp 2023

Camp includes:

Campers will also enjoy access to the museum galleries and will tour Historic RCA Studio B, located on Nashville’s Music Row. A showcase on the final day presents a culminating public performance featuring the songs created during the week.

- Step-by-step songwriting lessons

At Intermediate and Advanced Camps:
- Exploration of the co-writing process
- Introduction to recording and production techniques
- Alternatives in songwriting exercises and approaches
- Introduction to the business of songwriting and music publishing
- The Nashville number system
2023 Camp Dates
Registration opens February 3, 2023. Check back for details.
- June 12-17, 2023: Beginner to Intermediate
- July 10-15, 2023: Intermediate to Advanced
- July 17 or 18, 2023: *Demo Day recording mini-camp *Demo Day is an optional extension of Intermediate to Advanced Camp
2023 Camp Fees
$460 for current Museum members (family level membership and up): Member rate can be accessed through the member portal.
$545 for non-members
*Financial assistance: We offer a limited number of needs-based financial assistance packages that reduce the camp fee to $25 or $275 for qualifying families. Click here for application. See more information below
