YEAH! Summer Jam, a music-based camp for people ages 10-17, will be presented July 18-22, 2022 from 9am to 5pm, at Vanderbilt University.
This transformational program, open to musicians of all skill levels, will focus on instrument instruction, music related education, and life skill development in a supportive, collaborative environment that is fostered by talented mentors and counselors. Scholarships are available!
YEAH! is excited to return to offering the in-person camp format this summer once again after taking a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SUMMER JAM Camp allows youth in Middle Tennessee and beyond to gather, discuss current events, develop self-confidence, and express themselves.
We are eager to see familiar faces as well as welcome new ones to build upon the innovative work YEAH! has done for 20 years with Southern Girls and Tennessee Teens Rock Camps.
Daily activities will include group assemblies, instrument instruction, interactive workshops, lunch, performances, panels, and band practice. YEAH! is excited to partner with local artists and organizations to provide a variety of workshops and panels for campers including
improvisation, self-advocacy, artist development, stage presence, and more.
Registration for YEAH! Summer Jam is now open at bit.ly/yeahsummerjam. Scholarships are available for those unable to attend due to financial barriers. Campers without access to an instrument may borrow one for the weeklong session using checkout from YEAH!’s Gear
Lending Library.
