Reading plays an important role in our health. We want to know how kids (10-15 years old) spend time reading and in turn, how that affects reading comprehension. Play memory games and complete tasks to receive $10 per 30 minutes (3-4 hours total) for participating.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

The Communication and Language Lab at Vanderbilt University is currently running a study that investigates how the reading habits of children influence their understanding of language. We are looking for children ages 10-15 years old and adults (18+). There are two options for participation. You may participate in-person at Vanderbilt's Peabody Campus or online through Zoom. The study takes approximately 3-4 hours over the course of two or three days. Participants will be compensated $10 for every 30 minutes with a gift card. We orffer fexlible hours, including after work hours and weekends.
