*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 05/31/2015
To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of America's Civil War (1861-1865), the Pathenon is pleased to announce a new exhibition featuring the paintings of Nashville artist, Dane Carder.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

-Thirteen pieces are interpretations of Civil War surgeon Reed Bontecou's documentary photographs of his patients taken 1863-1866, while a smaller series focuses on popular 1863 wallpapers. Together these paintings represent the extreme loss endured by soldiers and their families.
