The secret is out! Thomas Edison's Secret Lab - inspired by the cartoon series available on Netflix, XFINITY, public television stations and DVD - is at Discovery Center! The greatest inventor of all time serves as the mentor and guide for Angie, a 12-year old science prodigy, her Science Club friends and a nearly completed robot named Von Bolt as they explore the fascinating ways science shapes our everyday lives. Highlighting Next Generation Science Standards and other standards-based curriculum, Thomas Edison's Secret Lab will be full of science facts, hands-on activities that showcase scientific inquiry, creativity and collaboration, inspiration to find new ways to solve problems - and fun!

The exhibition follows the First Ladies’ holiday themes from Jacqueline Kennedy who began the tradition in 1961 through the Obama administration when Laura Dowling served as White House Chief Floral Designer. Featuring images from the White House Historical Society and Presidential libraries, this photographic journey brings to life the joyful times and intimate moments of the first families and their beloved pets during the holiday season.
