Counting With Kids

Counting With Kids was built on a belief that high-quality education information should be available to all families and that mathematical literacy is a necessary life skill. Throughout Neily Boyd’s more than a decade working in math education, she became increasingly aware of a root cause as to why children were struggling with math: it wasn’t being connected to their real lives. Research shows this gap starts as early as the toddler years. This led Boyd to create Counting With Kids in 2019 with the purpose of providing parents of young children with simple, high-quality, research-based information and best practices for building numeracy. Counting With Kids provides resources and advice for incorporating math at home through comprehensive yet simple activities that fit into everyday life.
