At Galileo Preparatory Academy, our learners sequentially move through five mixed-aged studios, which are designed to provide them with the tools, knowledge, and character needed to thrive in adulthood and achieve their personal and professional goals. Each studio caters towards the ages and developmental needs of its learners and offers gradually increasing amounts of flexibility and autonomy.

We call our students learners to emphasize their active participation in their education. Additionally, we have guides and coaches, rather than teachers. Schools traditionally have classrooms, while we have studios. Traditional schools view success narrowly, while we include elements like character development and growth mindset into our curriculum. We promote academic and social development, rather than teaching to a test.

We offer a full curriculum for all learners K-12, including electives for our older learners.
