We strive to champion artistic excellence, nurture creative talent, and facilitate meaningful engagement with the arts for all citizens, fostering collaboration and advocacy among the artistic community. The Hendersonville Arts Council commits to engage citizens and provide opportunity through encouraging creativity and self-expression through the cultural, visual, literary, performance and other arts. By showcasing artists and their artistic talents, the City of Hendersonville’s Arts Council aspires to expand public awareness, involvement, accessibility, experience and opportunity.

The Hendersonville Arts Council and The City of Hendersonville will host the inaugural Hendersonville Arts Festival in Sanders Ferry Park on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 featuring over 75 artisans from across the country as part of the city’s efforts to support the arts in Hendersonville.

In addition to being able to talk with the artisans to find amazing art, the FREE festival will feature local food vendors, live music, family activities and beautiful views by the lake. The official hours of the festival are Saturday, May 11 from 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday, May 12 from 11 am - 5 pm.
