Tim and Janie Richards started Let It Shine Gymnastics (LIS) in Franklin, TN in April of 1983. They desired for the program to teach more than just the sport of gymnastics as they placed a strong emphasis on the principles of Christianity and chose to honor Jesus Christ in all aspects. LIS has experienced an amazing journey since the beginning with one 6,000 square foot warehouse in south Franklin. They are now blessed with two buildings, side by side, totaling about 55,000 square feet to support their gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, ninjastics, preschool programs, and parent/child classes as well as their competitive programs. There are other popular activities such as birthday parties, parents' night out, various day camps, and parents' day out.

Parent and Child classes: ages 12-36 mo, Boys & Girls Pre-Rec Gymnastics: ages 3-5, Girls Rec Gymnastics: ages 6-12, Ninjastics: ages 4-12, Tumbling & Trampoline and Tumbling classes: ages 3+, Adaptive Gymnastics: ages 3-14, and Competitive Teams.
