We believe that education creates lasting positive change for people and our planet. From our home in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, our research and residential programs investigate the diversity that sustains all life, develop a sense of place, and cultivate a stewardship ethic that will influence lifelong decision-making.

More than your average summer camp, we offer multi-day, overnight experiences for kids ages 4 to 17 – and sometimes their adultsOur summer camps connect kids with nature – and each other – through new, empowering experiences full of curiosity, discovery, and wonder.

Nestled in the mountains of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tremont is the perfect location for self-discovery and building connections to the natural world. Campers fall asleep to the sounds of cicadas and awake to birds singing in the mountain morning sun. During the day, they’ll have unforgettable experiences splashing in mountain streams, climbing ridges to unbelievable views, and discovering secrets about the plants and animals that call the Smokies home.
