Camp TPAC offers weekday camps based on musical theater for ages 8-16. Led by TPAC teaching artists, participants will practice singing, dancing, and acting, and discover the excitement of performing on TPAC stages. Camp TPAC will engage participants in a fun, creative environment that promotes empathy, teamwork, and self-confidence through the performing arts. Each camp week culminates with a performance at 3:00 PM on Friday for family and friends. ![]() |

Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s Camp has put kids in charge–allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, stop-motion animation, coding & gaming, sports & recreation, maker crafts, water play, baking, and more. As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–learning to course correct and trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. Either way, any unused Passes are automatically refunded at summer’s end. Ages: 4–12 | Lunch, snacks & all hours (8am–6pm) included. ![]() |

Each activity throughout the week provides unique opportunities to encourage campers to become confident and remain grounded and strong when life’s challenges arise. Campers are in cabin groups by age/grade and biological gender for activities, Bible study, and recreation; then come together for large groups games, worship, and daily speaker session. Deer Run makes it a priority for camp staff to actively engage each camper and create a fun and safe environment. They listen with understanding and get to know each camper, encourage them, and provide them with positive role models. In fact, many campers are greeted by name year after year by returning counselors. ![]() |

At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life. Our Rend Lake camp is a non-religions program that serves campers 2nd to 9th-grade. Kids gain independence, build self-esteem, and learn about cooperation and problem-solving, all while making new, lifelong friends. We offer a small community for campers so that they feel like they are part of the Manitowa family. By offering structured free choice activities, we encourage kids to feel a sense of belonging and control over their experience, which leaves them feeling empowered and able to learn and grow.
