2026 will mark the 9th year for the NYBA Summer Program. This well designed program was established to not only provide summer camp for the kids, but also teach life lessons of how to utilize the skills learned on the court into their daily activities. YMCA Camp Ocoee has provided a high-quality traditional overnight camping experience since 1923. In Ranger Camp, campers enjoy a wide range of land and water activities in a safe, supportive environment. Each morning, campers choose activities that interest them most, while afternoons are spent experiencing camp favorites with their cabin group. One-week sessions are available for boys and girls ages 7–16, with a 5:1 camper-to-staff ratio and a strong Christian atmosphere. Theater is a team sport, and this camp is all about building an ensemble that understands and practices the foundations of performance like storytelling, movement, people skills, and problem solving. We’ll explore monologues and scenes, audition preparation practices, Shakespeare technique, basics of staging and directing, and lots more! Students should bring a notebook, pencil, water, and a snack. They should dress in comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes. Each week will conclude with a special performance for families and friends.

Explore the land and the sky with RoboThink’s Planes, Trains, and Automobiles camp! Students will build and program robots inspired by vehicles from past and present, diving into the world of transportation robotics. Using motors, gears, batteries, and mainboards, they’ll create everything from sleek airplanes to fast cars and sturdy trains.

NCT is filled each summer with week-long theatre camps. Students will build core performance skills including acting fundamentals, vocal projection, physical awareness, and improvisation. Through engaging games, scenes, and creative exercises, they’ll learn to use their voice, body, and imagination to bring stories to life. Students will also develop confidence, collaboration, communication, and stage presence in a supportive and fun ensemble environment.

For busy families, finding time for weekly swim lessons can be a challenge—but water safety can’t wait. Our accelerated program condenses a month’s worth of lessons into just one week, giving kids focused, consistent practice that leads to faster progress. During June and July, “The Valley” comes alive with summer camps. Campers participate in outdoor adventures, unplug from their electronics, and connect with each other. Although campers are tired at the end of day, they don’t want to leave … and they want to come back again and again because of the relationships and community they find at Deer Run.

Art camps, need we say more?! Our three, five, and seven hour camps are a TON of fun. We balance our time creating with lots of play breaks and snack or lunch breaks. We hope every camper leaves proud of what they have created and having had a great time!
