At Blockheads, young people make interactive code-based art using block-based programming tools, primarily Scratch. Offered for all experience levels, classes teach computational thinking & problem solving while helping build creative confidence.
The Parks and Recreation Department develops and implements programs for youth, adults and seniors alike. Programs include Easter Egg Hunt, Fishing Rodeo, Summer Camps, Touch A Truck, BooFest, Christmas on Main Street and more. The Program division is also responsible for youth and sports camps held in the City of Dickson.
